The Charlotte Knights, established in 1901, are a highlight of the lifestyle Charlotte provides. The team has grown in popularity immensely since building a new stadium uptown, which held its first event March 22, 2014. The Knights play in the International League, and are the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox of the American League.
